Children We Serve

Homes of Hope for Children aspires to be the first placement for disadvantaged boys and girls in need of safe, stable homes throughout the state of Mississippi.

The children who come to our ministry have no history of violence and are not considered a danger to others. Many have endured devastating crises throughout their short lives. Others come from families who are in courageous search of a better life for their kids. While the majority of our children come from within an 80 to 90 mile radius of our Purvis, Mississippi home, we are registered to accept any child in the state of Mississippi in need of our care.

Children are referred to our ministry by family members, school counselors, ministers, community agencies, Department of Human Services employees, and other concerned community members. Because we strongly believe in the importance of keeping siblings together and preserving the bonds of family, Homes of Hope for Children serves boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18.
