Because our kids have faced heartbreaking hardship before coming to our ministry, counseling is an essential tool in helping Homes of Hope for Children meet their emotional and relational needs.

Our ministry provides several levels of counseling, including weekly individual sessions for each child. We also offer family sessions with the children, their parents and/or guardians, and extended family members, as necessary. When it’s determined that weekly counseling is no longer necessary, children progress to receiving counseling on an as-needed basis.

An important part of the Homes of Hope for Children proactive process, counseling helps children and their families find and confront the truth about their lives.
